We had an excellent steak, blue cheese and onion baguette with salad. Proper chips too. All sat in the sun watching the narrow boats pass by with pint of real ale.

Great place to visit right on the canal, I would highly recommend food lovely good prices and they do at least 5 ales we stayed in the car park in our motor home. To me this place fantastic 5mins off M6.

Great selection of real ales and a varying menu. As well as the usual fodder and specials there are meals at £6 or 2 for £10. Good value too. I tried the chicken and leak pie and it was really nice. Proper crust on top and none of that flaky pastry stuff. Beers are rotated and selected from local breweries as well as others. True canal side pub. Dogs welcome. Can't wait for warmer weather so I can sit outside by the canal and just chill out for a bit. Has bands and artists on but not been there to watch. You'll find details on their Facebook page.
