About

Cricklade Children’s Centre is a ‘one stop shop’ for all families in the Cricklade, Purton and Lydiard area with a child under the age of five.

Story

We run various regular fun, friendly activity sessions for children and their carers. We run courses such as Post- and Ante-natal, Parenting, Back to Work, and work in partnership with Family Learning to provide other courses such as ‘computers kids and me’. The Health Visitor runs a fortnightly clinic and the midwife holds antenatal clinics.

We are there for you! We listen and offer non-judgemental, impartial, friendly advice and if we don’t know the answers we will find someone who does.

Mission

* Children become more confident
* Children learn more about the world around them and feel safe to explore
* Children learn to socialise with each other which will help them make friends
* Parent/carers develop friendships and support networks
* Tips and ideas to support children’s learning at home
* Parents/ carers feel more confident about their parenting
* Families in crisis or in difficult circumstances for whatever reason are supported so that the situation is improved
