We are a friendly independent private practice providing dental care ranging from routine general dentistry to cosmetic and dental implant treatments.

Story

We can provide you with the latest cosmetic dental treatments from tooth whitening and composite bonding, through to veneers, crowns and bridges. Even just replacing some old amalgam fillings with new white composite fillings can dramatically improve your smile and confidence.

We are also providers of dental implant treatment. James is one of very few dentists in the UK to have an MSc degree specifically in Implant Dentistry. If you are considering having dental implants then please call to arrange a consultation, or if you are a dentist & would like to refer a patient to us for all or part of their implant treatment then please contact us for a referral pack.

"We are a small predominantly private dental practice located in Crickhowell, inside the War Memorial Health Centre.We see adult patients on a private fee per item or denplan basis and children under the age of 18 on the NHS.Our 2 dentists are both highly skilled & qualified, with several postgraduate degrees or diplomas between them. As a result we can provide you with exceptional cosmetic or dental implant treatment alongside general dental treatment & oral surgery. We also provide IV sedation for suitable patients who are anxious about dental treatment."

I’m very satisfied with all aspects of my treatment at Crickhowell Dental Practice. Last year I had multiple appointments with Lloyd for an extraction, fillings, new crowns and root canal treatment and I was very happy with his highly professional, thorough and sympathetic client care. Yesterday I had a routine check up which revealed no further action required so a good job done. Hygienist Carrie has given me good advice and helped me improve my gum health

If you have big problems with your teeth or gums, need previous poor dentistry fixed both my partner and I or are a VERY anxious patient, me! we cannot recommend James and his team more highly. They are fantastic and have completely sorted us out. You can trust that you will be properly looked after.

James is clinically excellent with a reassuring bedside manner. He made my children  feel very comfortable too. Very very pleased with this practice. Carrie, the hygienist was gentle but extremely thorough.

Having needed a LOT of work due to previous dentistry being substandard, James has had a huge task on his hands. He has been professional and thorough with an excellent standard of dentistry and over the past year has given me my smile back. I have also had one appointment with Lloyd, who I also found excellent. All the staff are friendly and efficient. Definitely a 5 star dental practice.

Always a bright and cheery welcome from James and the ladies. Wasn't kept waiting and James always explains his findings and offers timely advice. Today he said I'd need x-rays at my next appointment so I can start budgeting for that

Very efficient. Very friendly. Very professional.  From arrival at Reception via the dental nurses and hygienists to Llyod and James it is all as good an experience as any dental visit can be!  They are dedicated and full of sound advice on how NOT to spend money on unnecessary treatment. I have been to half a dozen civilian dental practices in my life, and many more in the Army. This is the BEST.

I can honestly say I actually enjoy going to the dentist now! James makes the you feels so at ease, takes the time to explain a procedure to you, no rushing you in and out. If you're looking for a dentist, look no further!

James has been my dentist for over five years now and in my opinion is outstanding !He is very professional and friendly. I am very happy with all of the work he has done and would recommend him highly.
