Wow! I never thought I could have a crêpe for breakfast that would not be sweet. An all day breakfast crêpe that is bang on, there is no skimping with ingredients and there is more than enough there for me to eat; it was £6 but it's definitely worth the money I'm a person to bring my own breakfast and to go for the healthiest cheaper option. I did not have to wait long for my food and their takeaway boxes are great since you can use it as a plate. The staff were really friendly, made me feel very welcome and really did boost my moral this morning. Seating is available that is extremely suitable for a date or for small groups; however, I only glimpsed at the seating area so I'm unsure if I bigger group would be able to go. If you've taken time to read this review because you're thinking of giving the place a try, I'd definitely try it, well... I did : I hope this review has been of use and if you do decide to go, I hope you really really do enjoy what ever takes your fancy. Thank you for reading.
Well, well, Well ... Who’d have thought it .... I’ve just gotten away with the cardinal sin of NOT checking a rating of a place before eating there But just arrived in Birmingham to watch The Waterboys concert this evening and when we saw the sign for Crêpe’s just made a beeline for it! So I’m here and as you’ll note from my rating, have a very happy tummy and even happier taste buds! Just finished my Bananalicious crêpe and most ‘licous & Banana-ry it was PS have it with the Belgian chocolate option - adds Chocolatey Yumminess with minimal sweetness and doesn’t over power the flavour of the banana Surprisingly pleasant atmosphere too considering its in a railway station. Oh Yes, the gent who served us had loads of cheeky charm and made the experience all the more enjoyable!
I really reccomend. I was so happy to find a vegan crepe and more then that a gluten free alternative ,with buckwheat available. I had the banana vegan split. It came with vegan chocolate inside and out and cream on side. It was light , not too sweet and so yummy. Made my day. Thank u so much for catering for us vegans, and satisfying an occasional sweet tooth
It was delicious and I absolutely loved it when I went for the first time. I then went to bring my friend to try it, this time the dish I ordered was made very lazy but it still tasted nice so it was ok... the next time when I brought another friend along I asked them the previous day what time they finish. I went over the next day and they were closing 3 hours early due to the lack of staff. Disappointed, they need to hire more and treat their staff better in that case. I don't think I'll be returning. I went to Dolce instead!
The food is lovely. The crepes are tasty, full of flavour. There's quite a few variations for gluten free vegans, like myself. That sundae was delicious.
My first time visiting any crepeaffaire, I ordered a chocolate waffle and a banana milkshake. The chocolate waffle was delicious, I was left scraping chocolate sauce of the wrapper and licking my fork. On the other hand, the milkshake was a bit of a let down. It was quite thin and watery and not very sweet. It also leaked milkshake onto my trousers from a broken lid - I might have just been unlucky bit I definitely wouldn't order it again. The staff were all lovely and friendly. Overall, I would return.
Food is very good, ideal for a breakfast or lunch. A bit expensive but is normal for the place where is. Don’t understand too much why is more expensive to eat in the place since you have to serve yourself...
Good crepes and quick service. Not the best value for money in my opinion, especially if eating in and selection is a bit limited e.g. no white chocolate sauce but the staff were very friendly.
Not a fan! The product itself isn't thaaaat bad, but it's such a long wait, and massively overpriced considering it's a filled pancake. Unfortunately the way they serve them up in the little box means they steam very quickly and go a bit soggy.
Served by Vytaute. Wonderful service with a vast selection of vegan options. Jaw dropping presentation, and even included vegan cream! Highly recommended.
