They came out to look at my faulty dishwasher, just stared at the model and said it’s a Bosch and the main board will have gone and it will cost too much to repair. He did not touch the item once but brought his tools in for show. When I questioned what the point of this callout was, he said sometimes it’s a faulty plug but I had already told them this had been tested before booking the callout. He then within 5 minutes of arriving charged me £20 callout fee. I got the impression he was just there for the money, wasn’t bothered about looking at he the item and just wanted to get away as quick as possible.

Excellent. We needed a new washer, we visited a couple of the big suppliers who proved to be of no help at all. I found Crawfords online and they had the make of machine we wanted. We visited the shop on a Friday afternoon and they had a good selection on show, we were met by a very pleasant woman who showed us what they had and advised us accordingly. I paid for the washer and by mid-morning on Saturday the following day the washer was delivered, installed and the old one taken away. If you want a washing machine go there first.
