Great museum with friendly volunteers who are extremely knowledgeable about the history of the place. Highly recommended for public transportations lovers. Entrance fee is reasonable as they do need funds to maintain the place. It will help a lot if you could buy something or do a small donation.
A great little treasure tucked away in Broadstairs in Kent, next to the railway station. Run by a fabulous team of volunteer enthusiasts.
Amazing Santa's grotto experience!!! Highly recommend this. Fabulous, well organised and so much better than walking into a shed and seeing Santa on the other side of a curtain! The fee is £7. For this all accompanying adults are free entry to the museum, tea and coffee available, and a ride on the miniture railway all included. The meeting santa experience was great, not cheesy at all. : And no need to pre-book! If you take them to visit Santa this year, do this one!!!
Nice little museum cost 3 pounds ,run by enthusiastic volunteers , made up of three buildings the tower the dome and the museum which houses model railways and local history, try the echo in the center of the dome the effect is great , definitely worth a visit.
Lovely small museum with toys, modell railways and some local historic about Broadstairs, Thane and Thomas Russell Crampton. Some middle-aged gentlemen explained the exhibits and made good proposals for further trips in the surrounding. If you are interested in historic technology, toys or modell railways, you must not miss this.
Went twice. Model railways OO and n gauge. The tower has some interesting exhibits and the beehive is great for children to shout in. The echo is fantastic.

Took kids to Santa's grotto. Was an amazing time. So personal. Kids loved it. Would highly recommend.
Tool the kids to see santa. They loved the model trains as well as having a ride on one
This is a ok Museum if you like trains it is brilliant founded a bit expensive to go in.
