Fantastic garden centre, well priced. I brought some gorgeous blue flower tubs, and they were half price! In-Excess is a huge shop with almost everything you could need. Café is lovely, food is good.
Love this place, great staff, great products, mostly wheelchair accessible, disabled parking bays are rubbish, just normal size bays, so if you struggle to get out of your vehicle, they would not work for you, I have a large wheelchair-accessible van, they are useless for me, they are just normal size bays, with no yellow crosshatch access paths either side, and quite short, all they have done is put yellow lines instead of white and a wheelchair symbol! Although the building is big, and the aisles are good width apart, unfortunately, they do rather clutter them up with baskets and displays, etc, which can be a nightmare, many a time I've gone round a corner to find I am trapped, trying to reverse a large electric wheelchair without being able to see behind you is rather a hazard for myself, staff, other customers and of course the shelving and displays! The staff are all very friendly, super knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They sell a huge variety from plants, trees, shrubs, vegetables, garden furniture, paving etc, to household, books, clothes, gifts and numerous other things, even their website doesn't do them justice. They have an adorable little cafe, which can get very busy at times, again wheelchair accessible, static bench style padded seating, and moveable chairs, a variety of sized tables, the staff are lovely, very helpful.
Love this place. First time I have visited In-Excess here. Sell everything and to top it all, staff were very friendly and happy to pass the time of day with customers. Didn't try the coffee shop, that'll happen on the next visit.
Great walk round to price a project for springtime, helpful staff and easy access for all. Parking can get sparse as its a very popular garden center.
Lots of stock, clean with helpful staff. Cafe at the back, toilet facilities near the tills. Lots of reasonable priced plants available in season.

Lovely atmosphere at this garden centre. Really friendly young guy on the til; great customer service. The restaurant was really good too, friendly, efficient attentive staff.
Lovely Garden Centre with lots of extra bits you would have not thought about offering. The In-Excess from Wear End has been absorbed by this garden centre so there is an element of hardware store inside. We brought a large Tarpaulin. Was surprised by the selection. Also has a fish store next door. Would recommend.
Have a lot of different items you may want. Garden plants, paving compost etc.for outdoors, together with all garden pest control. Plus other goods non related. Worth a visit
A garden center between Fair Oak and Colden Common. Great place and actually fair prices and some right bargains, unlike Hilliers or Banbridge which are right rip offs. But not only plants and garden equipment but also tools, DIY stuff, inspection lamps, nuts n bolts, clothing, paint Inc spray cans. Well worth a visit. Handy car wash on site too. Loads of parking and disabled bays.
