After only a few hours on the Isle of Wight, staying in Cowes, I succumbed to an asthma attack. I discovered that I had left all my asthma medication on the mainland. I contacted the Cowes Health Centre, who gave me an emergency appointment, (late on a Friday evening), and I was seen within 15 minutes of arriving at the surgery, and was treated by way of nebuliser. The staff at the centre were very helpful and understanding of my predicament, the Doctor(?) I saw was very efficient and prescribed steroids and antibiotics to treat the chest congestion. On the whole a very efficient process. Thank you Cowes Medical Centre.

cant get thru, voice recording goes on for ages, then says phone will ring until someone answers unless engaged, where an engaged sound will be heard.. its rings and rings and rings, then cuts off!!! you call again and the same process. i've gone thru this 6 times this morning already!!! Terrible . even some of the doctors are rubbish, and arrogant!! can never see who I want to see!! Nightmare!!

im sure the other ratings must be from a while ago now. Dr parsons and another dr who’s first name is Paul have been very helpful and reassuring with the problems our son was going through. I don’t normally leave reviews but looking at some of the low scores I feel I had to. I always get through on the phone and have seen great support from the dr who are there, I had a few issues with a dr who was filling in when I first moved to the island but the regular doctors and receptionists have been excellent. Thankyou for your help ... P.s same cannot be said about the boots pharmacist downstairs who told me a prescription could not be broken up even though it could ?

What others are saying is true they never answer the phone but also when I have gone for appointments the doctors are very dismissive of your issues and are in fact quite rude and not in a constructive manner. Would change doctors if I could.

Shocking! For two days we have been calling to get an automated voice message, which cuts you off at the end! Also, my partner was sent away for almost a year with steroids and antibiotics to treat several bouts of pneumonia. Turns out the underlying cause was lung cancer! None of these doctors deserve their title. Awful.
