One star – very disappointing experience.nnTried to make a straightforward claim for a routine issue, but Covea dragged the process out unnecessarily. They kept asking for irrelevant information that had nothing to do with the actual treatment. It felt like they were looking for excuses not to pay, rather than helping a loyal customer.nnTheir approach was unprofessional, frustrating, and made me feel like I was being interrogated rather than supported. This was over a very small claim – not some huge amount – yet they turned it into a stressful, time-wasting ordeal.nnWould not recommend based on this experience.nnAnswer to your response:nThanks, but I won’t be emailing privately – everything that needed to be said is in my review. You don’t need more details, you need to take responsibility. My experience, along with many other similar negative reviews, should be more than enough for your company to finally reflect and change how you treat your customers.
If I could give 0 stars I would, tried to claim on my insurance which they took over 6 months to deal with and didn’t receive one phone call except to pay more money for an upgraded account when they didn’t do anything with the standard account. When I refused to pay for the upgraded account they cancelled my account in total and refused my customer her pay out. Please stay away from this company worst decision I made was to trust this company. Also the supporting company that use these guys which are simply business are awful and wouldn’t trust please do not use either one of these company’s they drag the claims out to the point where they demand more money then just cancel your contract without paying
Very disappointed with Covea Insurance. I contacted them to change my taxi replacement vehicle because I have a small boat to transport and needed something slightly bigger. They refused, saying the car I already have can fit it — even though it clearly doesn't. They were more concerned about saving £50 than actually helping a customer in need.nnTheir attitude showed that customer service and flexibility mean nothing to them — they just go for the cheapest option, not the right one. I even offered to arrange my own vehicle, but they refused to pay me directly and insisted on paying the garage instead.nnHonestly, it feels like they care more about cost-cutting than helping their customers. very poor experience
Unfortunately, the service I had from such insurance company is borderline disturbing. From this initial start of the claim to reaching a verdict was many back and forth emails consistent with the insurer attempting to find grounds to not pay the claim out. I've never witnessed such behaviour before.nnIn the end, they claimed that due to me booking a consult with the vets on the same day as the start date of the policy and mentioning my cats urination habits, this validated a rejection in my claim for an issue which arised months after which has no link.nnFor further brief, constant urination, and then several months later, bladder stones. Where by he was taken in to the vets for the complete opposite condition of no urination. It really baffled me.
Please do not take out insurance with this company. They are useless, inefficient and dishonest. Their communication skills are non-existent. They will do anything to avoid paying a claim. If I could, I would award minus stars. I cant exaggerate enough the stress and upset this company has put me through. Absolutely awful company.
