Couverture & The Garbstore brings its own unique style to London’s Notting Hill. Behind a deceptively small shop front it holds 3 floors of women, children and menswear, homeware and gifts.

Story

Former Paul Smith designer Emily Dyson established lifestyle store Couverture in 1999. In Spring 2008 Couverture relocated from its original site in Chelsea to the heart of Notting Hill. Here Dyson, together with her fashion designer husband Ian Paley, opened the concept store "Couverture & The Garbstore". Launching to critical acclaim with The Times voting it Cult Shop in 2008, the store is now firmly established as one of London’s premier shopping destinations.

My not so secret top present shop. Problem is when looking for a gift, one always finds something for oneself! Superb taste in everything. Understand & stylish fashion & interiors. Unfortunately stopped selling kids clothing. Not the cheapest but certainly one of the most stylish in Notting Hill.
