Freya is wonderfully friendly and very knowledgable. This is the first time I have been to a chiropractor but she made me feel very comfortable and informed of each step. I have been to see her a couple of times regarding my ailments & I’m feeling the improvements already. I’ll be sure to continue visiting Freya for all future treatments. Highly recommended.
Five stars is honestly not enough for this clinic - and for George. I wouldn’t trust anyone or any place else. George takes time to listen and understand the bigger picture and his massage techniques are elite level don’t expect anything relaxing, by the way and has always brought me much-needed relief with a long-standing issue. George also gives ‘takeaway tips’ and stretches for home. Oh, and you can watch the World Cup on the big screen in the reception area too :- Thank you so much
I cannot praise Active Health highly enough, especially Steve, who I see for chiropractic sessions. He listens, discusses and then provides extremely effective treatment, and has certainly enhanced my quality of life. Great service from the practice manager and those on reception too.
I've seen George Antoni a couple of times now and my goodness this man is just brilliant! Both times I have walked in feeling pretty sore and miserable and despite nearly leaping off the table a number of times during treatment I have walked out feeling 100 times better! He is methodical, considerate, intuitive and incredibly skilful, he seems to find all the spots that needed attention which you should be both grateful and terrified for! I jest of course but I cannot leave a review to do him justice...I just hope not too many people read this and he gets too booked up that I can't get booked in again!!!!...not joking!
First the Receptionists were always polite and informative. I first saw Flavio for the first consultation and again he was very informative, and gave a quick examination. The follow up appointment was with Steve who gave me a complete examination and we proceeded with the manipulation of the lower back and massage and probe of the under thigh and calf on the left leg. I was relaxed at all times as I had complete confidence it what Steve was doing, I made a follow up appointment for a week later.
Flavio was absolutely amazing . He explained how his treatment works and made me feel at ease. He was very patient and thorough in his work. I definitely recommend him. After my second treatment I felt so much better. cant wait for my next session.
I went to the clinic as me, not as Slough Scots! Everyone was very friendly and as a preliminary assessment the appointment was just right. I was put at my ease and the chiropractor spoke about my neck problem with a great deal of medical knowledge and experience.
I tore my hamstring about 10 ten days ago, and as part of my recovery, attended an appointment with Stuart yesterday for a massage. He took a history of how the injury occurred, and then proceeded to work on the affected area. Being very sore, he used just the right amount of pressure, explained what he was doing and why, and I left the clinic more able to use my right leg, and felt I was walking more normally. Not only did I feel better physically, but the treatment did wonders for my mental health, as it's often a struggle when you are used to being quite active and an injury prevents you from getting out an about. He's also a really lovely guy and I am looking forward to my treatment next week. Thank you Stuart! :-
I have recently been visiting Active Health with a problem with my upper leg. Grezgorz has been brilliant. He identified the problem and eliminated other issues. He treated the poorly muscles and gave me exercises to strengthen them and those around them. I’ve seen him twice and would very much recommend his professional and logical approach to supporting his patients. I’m so glad I discovered Active Health after years of driving past!
I had been suffering for several months with dreadful pain and restricted movement in my shoulder and constant pins and needles in my arm and hand. The sessions I have had over the last couple of months with chiropractors Steve & Dan have made such a huge difference - I now rarely have pain and do not have to constantly take painkillers just to get though the day. My strength and movement in my shoulder and arm are now very close to normal and the awful pins and needles are gone. Highly recommend!
