Fantastic hospital great staff and excellent with my son. Due to the hospital not having a accident and emergency service the place is pretty calm which is great when recovering from a operation.
Just a quick Thank You to each and every member of staff during my foot/toe operation on Tuesday 29th Nov, 2022. David Haydon. Everyone was so polite, helpful, caring, kind, it blew me away. You really are a great group of staff doing your very best for patients in these high pressure, difficult times. My operation could not have gone better, and although I was last in due to someone at Brookfield phoning me the night before saying “don’t come until we call you around 9.30am”, you folks made allowances for my late arrival, and everything went ahead as planned. Please thank everyone involved, you have a remarkable team there!
I recently went into Braintree Community Hosp for knee replacement under Mr Ranjith. Obviously I felt a bit nervous but the staff were absolutely wonderful in making me feel at ease. From Mr Ranjith down to the tea ladies were absolutely brilliant. I would ho yhere again if I had to.
I was very nervous about having my gastroscopy but the staff were so kind and helping me try to relax. Sadly, I could not tolerate the procedure but the team were very understanding and made me feel a lot better about the situation.
Great hospital! Staff friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Dr had such a great bedside manner. I give them 10 stars.

Mri scan done here for my daughter in November 2022, was told that if anything concerning was on the mri results we would be notified quickly, still no results by January 2023, my daughter was taken into hospital on 2nd of January and had surgery on the 10th, now has damage to her spinal cord which apparently isn't concerning as far as the staff at braintree are concerned, she has 20% sensation in her legs and will need extensive physio.
As lots of people I was scared when I went for my Endoscopy also but from the moment I entered the Hospital, I was treated with respect and attention all receptions, nurses were helpful, gentle, informative and one to one respect and caring. In the Endoscopy both Nurses Matt Hiskett and Faye Wingfield were welcoming and attentive and Dr. Deb Whittington performed the Endoscopy with skilled and made sure I didn't feel worried or in pain. I watched the procedure and saw just how gentle she was. I can assure anyone who has to go through this procedure there is nothing to worry about. They all do an excellent job. All hospital staff I came in contact with were well trained respectful and caring. Aftercare nurse was also very kind, careful and informative. The hospital was very clean, friendly and modern. 100% to the hospital and doctors, nurses and staff. Well done, you all deserve the praise and respect. I would like to Thank everybody who I met in the endoscopy unit again.
Had a small op yesterday on the day stay ward and can’t give the staff enough praise, from the moment I stepped through the doors I was attended to. The Anaesthetists deserve an A+* I really didn’t know that I was put out until I woke up , had a few ops in my time and they were certainly the best. After care was perfect nothing too much trouble. If I was offered this hospital again I would take it .
Excellent. Clean hospital, courteous helpful staff. Today the endoscopy team supported me through tests, friendly and explained each stage of the test, I was very anxious but they alleviated worries and I left feeling that I had been cared for by a very professional team.
