It’s not cheap here, but if you work in agriculture or own a Range Rover, this is the store for you. Food for working dogs, heavy duty workware and tools (the only place in Bridgend you can get a billhook), riding tack, fencing and that sort of thing. Plus green wellies, quilted gilets and flat caps for the Range Rover owners. The car park is a bit small though. It will only take about 10 cars parked considerately. Or 4 Range Rovers. EDIT I just saw Clive’s post. Notwithstanding the Range Rovers, this is a great store for local agricultural workers and I hope someone can keep it going

The aquarium shop inside, Maidenhead aquatics is a great aquarist hobby shop. Staff have lots of knowledge and there is a great variety of tropical, marine and cold water fish. The plants are normally delivered on a Monday so if you want a good choice it's your best day.

I love the countrywide shop unfortunately their all closing they had fantastic sales last week selling off stock. I for 1 hope someone buys the franchise it's a fantastic shop

Bought a new pair of Wellingtons for my wife. Good value compared you some of the other brand names in stock. Ideal for regular use dog walking.

Great range of farm & garden products as well as a aquatics section. Maidenhead Aquatics is a separate shop, within Countrywide. Prices in both shops are on the steep side but staff knowledge is probably worth it. Plenty of on site parking is available.
