Nice and chill, not very loud, wide selection of beverages and food. Sometimes they have live music. Definitely recommend this place.
Lovely new Robins Pie & Mash at the Loaf, first time I have ever had some. Delicious.
Amazing refurbished much better then the old days but great memories of yester years
Totally bizarre place saturated with wannabe gangsters and caked-in-yellow women. Word to the wise: A local pub for local people only. Visited with a few friends and EVERYONE in the pub turned and stared at us as we walked in. People proceeded to stare us down as we ordered and consumed our drinks... almost as if they'd never seen people drink before. We felt like a tourist attraction. Think of the experience as a cross between Close Encounters and An American Werewolf in London. Enter at your own peril.
1st time I have been in here for 15 years & still same publican's that run it ,Always polite & chatty as well helpful & will spend time mingling with customers....

Hired their function room for a family party on 21st August lovely place very clean and tidy and great bar staff and fantastic dj owners were lovely and made us very welcome would highly recommend for a local venue hire
Great beer garden during the summer , handy for a quick half whilst waiting to pick up your child from school .
John, Sue and their lovely bar staff are absolutely top notch - all through this terrible year, they have invested a hell of a lot to make their premise Covid safe. Now they are open again and now serving food with your drinks at only £2 per meal - what great value! Thank you Sue and John for being there for your local community and bringing some normality to our lives. What a tough year - you rock you guys!
A real pub, friendly staff and a really chilled atmosphere and live music on a saturday and prices NOT extortionate for drinks
