Excellent experience. Got my first pair of bouldering shoes and Andy was great when trying to pick the perfect pair. It can be a very confusing experience but he made the process much easier with his knowledge. Carol was great and approachable when picking up my shoes today and all round all the staff are so super friendly. Will definitely be coming back again. Thanks everyone.
Fantastic customer service, the staff were more than happy to spend as much time with you as is necessary. Called in for som walking boots and our feet were measured properly and given a number of boots to try out for size. First class service
Great choice of jackets, walking trousers etc. Unfortunately the young dark haired lad on the till needs some customer training. No smiles, no please or thank you, even threw one item we bought on the counter, instead of placing the item., had to stop it going on the floor. Found one water proof spray half empty compared to another on the stand, he never said a word just took it off me and threw in bin. Very nearly walked out at that point with hubby about to give him some advice for his future. Hopefully he will not be working there next time we go in.
Always a good service the staff are always super helpful and knowledgeable. They always have a good range of products in store and if they don't they can usually order it for you. I would recommend that you sign up for an explore more card as you can get a number of benefits like extended warranty.
Many thanks to the lady who helped me with my walking boots today. The fitting service was amazing and I am very happy with my purchase. I don't think the service could be improved one iota. Many thanks
Great service, went to buy a climbing harness and Sally help us out completely. Shame that the shops in Preston though because I won't be going back after receiving a bus lane driving fine which I didn't even notice I had driven in at the time.
I really like this place, there is a good range of prices and it's all quality stuff , I fully subscribe to the Sam Vimes Boots theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness and this place helps balance that. There is generally a sale on something , especially children's stuff and it lasts. Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful .
Very clear this store is struggling. Stock levels are low, popular shore sizes not stocked. For virtually all the shoes we wanted to try on, told to order online and delivery to ship. When asked why, were told they had to cut stuck in the shop. Bought shoes elsewhere. Very poor service.
Good stock of outdoor clothing and equipment. We got the climbing gear items that we wanted. Would have been 5 stars but the person who was knowledgeable about the climbing gear was on their break, although another staff member did their best to help.
This was my first time ever entering a Cotswold Outdoor store. I have just got into running and own a couple of synthetic based base layers and was searching for a merino wool baselayer after reading all the hype of how good they are and never owning anything merino based before, I wanted to check it out. I did a bit of research beforehand that some good options were Icebreaker and HH, Cotswold seemed to be the only local store in town that stocked them. I walked through the front door and the guy at the front immediately inquired as to what I was looking for and radio'd to his colleagues on the upper level to show me where they were located so I wasn't looking around trying to find them, and made sure I found what I wanted as I left the store. Impressive service.
