This museum packs in a lot within a medium floor plan - and had loads of cars, signs, and trinkets around, to where it was hard to know where to look! It was a very eclectic collection that included cars, motorcycles, caravans, bicycles, photos, toys, and more. There was really good signage that gave details on the car model, previous owners, key changes or tech, and a few jokes or quizzes throughout that gave a humorous or interactive touch. If you want a quick browse through allow around 30 minutes, though you could likely spend a few hours if wanting to look at the many items in detail. It's a very reasonable price so worth a brief browse if cars are of interest and you're nearby.
We haven't been here for 30 odd years, when our children were little. It was great more rooms have been added on with a lot of interesting exhibits. So much to see. A truly lovely little village museum and of course home to Little Brum. Great entry price too.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
We really enjoyed this visit as a family for totally different reasons! I was interested in the history, my husband loved the motors, and my son loved the numerous play points fantastic for keeping little hands off the displays! I personally couldn’t find all of the gnomes if you know, you know!
What a wonderful museum to visit. There is so much to look at in there, we spent a good few hours making sure to take everything in. There was even things to do while you're going round like quizzes and spotting little hidden things. Such wonderful history kept, and even history of Brum. I would highly recommend visiting if you ever get the chance.
Such a great little museum. Walking through the different eras of cars, motorbikes, carts and caravans. Certainly a nostalgic feel about it. Very reasonably priced at £7.50 per person, if that was in london and for the amount you see and the collections they have you would easily be looking at £25 admission. Loved the little animated models working away in their workshops. Superb little place, well worth a visit!
Lovely independent museum, with an excellent variety of cars, motorbikes and other motoring memorabilia. Friendly staff, exciting and pleasurable atmosphere. Bargain ticket prices at £7 for adults, £5 for children 5-16, family ticket at £22 and free for under 5s. Great disabled access throughout the exerbition. Excellent little gem in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water well worth a visit.
This was an interesting and eclectic collection. Many cool cars and tons of "stuff". Bikes, toys, signs, gas pumps, pretty much anything car related. 7 pound fee to enter which i thought was reasonable. Friendly staff.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
The size of the museum is very deceiving from the outside, it's much larger than expected. We were completely enthralled by it, spending an enjoyable hour looking at all the exhibits. Well worth the £7 per head.15/5/22.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Lovely place for a petrolhead like me!!! Amazing cars, amazing memorabilia. If you include the toys and all the rest, it is car heaven in a small village in the Cotswalds. I recommend it to everyone, but if you love cars, then you HAVE to go.
Interesting car and toy museum, it's larger than it looks from the outside. There are 8 areas, most of the areas are rammed full of vintage motor memorabilia, cars, motor bikes, signs, adverts, paraphernalia etc. It's definitely worth a visit for families as there is an activity sheet for kids, and adults which is quite hard to complete. Most of the motors are Austin, there's a couple jaguars, a BMW 327, an invicta, and some other obscure, and long gone brands. There's so much to see, for nostalgic visitors there's something for everyone. Recommended.
