Well my experience has been that CDC are very pragmatic and sensible when it comes to matching the need for new homes and employment with the high value landscape that exists in this area. Not easy !
Middle of Cirencester at 1030 on a Sunday morning and a parking person is dobbing-in cars parked lawfully … the parking payment machine clearly says Mon-Sat … yet the person says he’s right and the machine is wrong! Thankfully he calls his manager who advises him to desist … I don’t blame the parking person … I blame the woeful management …..
The office staff are very good, but to say the local councillors are terrible is a definite understatement. They ignore it when you contact them. Rebecca Halifax will even block your emails if its anything she doesn't want to know about.
They promote climate emergency. Yet don’t deal with pollution in town or wasting electricity with lights at leisure centre!
Very friendly and helpful. Thank you
The refuse collection service is terrible
