Birthday dinner treat for moi... food was nice as was the prosecco actually the I enjoyed the prosecco more but I am not 100% convinced it is a place I would pick as my first choice for a dinner treat. The service was good no complaints but there's just something missing in the experience which I cannot pin point... maybe it's because I expected the food to be of a higher standard and it did not meet my expectations. I guess I need to try it again. We sat inside out of choice.
As a gluten free foodie I died and went to heaven. I was given a real menu and a holiday menu. There were so many dessert choices. The service was excellent and the food was a delight.Food: 5/5
I cannot express how much I love the mussels in this restaurant. The food is great the quality is great and the staff is really friendly. They are always checking how is the food and suggesting more drinks. Nevertheless I would recommend to add some more pieces of bread for the pâté, as only three small pieces are not enough, and is not fair that you need to order an extra bread to complete this starter. EDIT: I just tried the new summer dishes which include lobster. I love seafood and I had very high expectations. Half lobster costs £25 and full lobster £50. The food was all right, just the quantity of it was far from enough. I consider for the price they are charging, they could use a slightly bigger lobster. The same is happening to the mussels. I can see they are getting smaller vs. few months ago. The staff is very friendly, approachable and always willing to look after your table, well done guys.
Great Breakfast, friendly staff and a lovely environment. I'm looking forward to visiting in the summer and sitting in the outside area as it looks lovely. The French toast is die for and the best one I've ever tried. The eggs benedict was lovely and the eggs are perfectly poached.
Visiting this restaurant was a real pleisure. The design and ambience of the place is beautiful, classy and cosy. The staff is helpful and patient. The food was absolutely amazing. We have started off with the French onion soup, which was absolutely flavourful combined with the bread and the melted cheese. The main was moules-frites, with mussels, that had a very soft texture with a delicious sauce. The mayonnaise that you can choose with the frites is creamy and very flavourful, something that tasted to me authentic. The other main was a rather light yet well dressed celeriac steak with a lentil sauce vierge. Lastly the desserts, mixed berry pavlova -  which was sweet sour creamy and crunchy. Whilst the chocolate fondant,  warm chocolate was soft and gooey with some vanilla ice cream to find balance. It was a beautiful experience!
Went for a happy Sunday lunch with my family and it became a nightmare. The picture is what I ordered for my kids 2 and 1 year old it was a crepe with mushrooms and it came with an INSECT. Absolutely horrible. I can’t un recommend enough.
Perfect as always : The french onion soup is always so delicious and the fish stew so fresh!
Great food and very nice staff. The burger with bacon was top!!! Recommended
The restaurant looks nice. Service is great. But somehow I don’t quite enjoy their cooking style. The portion is relatively small.
Had a really tasty Sunday dinner... the place could be cleaner but it was good enough to eat. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-Free Menu
