The petrol station is always busy, goes hand in hand with the Costco experience . Ideally try and line up with the nozzle on the side of your petrol tank, although if you happen to arrive at the pump being on the opposite side, if you park near enough, it just about reaches the petrol tank at it's extreme stretch.nOn arrival at the pump, scan your Costco card first and you will see an acknowledgement screen with your name on it. Then scan your debit/credit card and enter your pin. You get an option to select if you require a receipt, I always choose this option. You are ready to fill up.nOnce completed, return the nozzle to the pump and then you receipt will be printed. Just make you aware that this does not always happen as the machine has perhaps run out of paper. If this happens I just check the value of the fuel shown on the pump is what appears on my phones bank alert transaction.nnWhat IS MISSING, is the lack of facility to check and top up ones tyre pressure, if required.nThis really needs to be added.nThe price of the petrol is competitive and generally a few pennies lower than the other local petrol stations.nMost days apart from Sunday 7am, the petrol station opens at 6 am.
If you understand and expect the line and wait... It's an great service... They are slowly upping there price to gain more profit, so I fear soon its prices will be on par with regular stations.
More Q than James Bond here. If you want a day out filling up the car to save 79p this is your dream day out. 25 minutes waiting to get to the pumps was totally exhilarating. Try it for yourself!
Be prepared to queue. But as it has 18 pumps you can get through it really quickly. As it states at the top you have to be a member to use it. But make sure you have your membership card as you will need to scan it before you can use the pump.
The fuel station with the cheapest fuel so far but only for members. There were no crazy queues. It was easy forgive in drive out.
