A terrible place. Dirty dirty floors, seats and tables and flies flying around, coffee spills on the floor and food remains on tables. Dishwasher is broken so you’re given a takeaway cup when sitting in. Noisy and hard to talk to the staff behind the glass. Plus it’s not well ventilated. Shame on Costa! Staff are nice so I’m not blaming them. Won’t be coming back. I don’t know how people are giving this place 4 or 5 stars the standards have really dropped!
A Food safety nightmare. Bleach being used which is against food safety regulations for food serving businesses and is noxious. Dry coffee literally everywhere all over the place. Dirty floors, dirty tables. Open bins about 6 inches from food storage. I've never seen a dirtier venue and I wasn't even looking that hard. Would love to get in the fridges and see what's really going on if this is what's open to plain view. When they were eventually cleaning one lady was sweeping poorly into rough piles dragging at the broom like she was raking leaves and then the other used a dirty mop to give the floor a run around. They were literally kicking chairs out the way sweeping into people's feet and mopping over the missed bits of debris in the floor. Just .. dont do it to yourselves..
Best place I’ve ever been. First ever time having coffee. Staff were great
You know exactly what you will get from a Costa in advance, that's part of the attraction of the place. Good strong coffee, served in a variety of forms and some simple food, sandwiches or Mac n cheese and the like. The waiting staff here we're professional and quick, and there was plenty of room, inside and outside. All in all a familiar Costa experience for me, and no bad notes to mention. You get what you expect, and in this case that's a good thing.
It is one of the worst coffee shops I’ve been to. No body in this branch knows or cares how to make the most simple coffee. This has actually made me think to give up coffee altogether. It is very disappointing considering this area is very affluent
Used the coffee shop for years and is gradually getting worse and worse. Slow inexperienced staff apart from the odd one who then gets put under pressure because are only there for the ride
Really impressed with the customer service!! Went in for a coffee yesterday, very lighting atmosphere, cracked a joke with the girls serving, there was a worker cleaning the tables and floor, absolutely impressed with the teamwork, keep it up!!
More than half of the tables not cleared and dirty. Staff too busy taking selfies behind the counter and being generally stroppy with customers. Go anywhere else but here.
Long wait, then they'd lost our drinks order. So wed finished our food before we got our coffees.Not impressed,won't be back
Wouldn’t let me get a take away coffee because I had a cat in my bag , and said if it was a dog it would of been okay . So rude didn’t even say sorry it would have taken 3 minutes for me to get a take away coffee thanks a lot Chinese lady
