Ideally located within a very short walking distance of the railway station and public transport links. Ample free parking available in the Church walk car park. Although this Costa is very busy, there is normally seating available on either of the floors or outside.
Great café! The staff is very kind and professional, works very hard and takes their time for every customer. I loved the music and positive vibe inside. The vegan sausage roll is really nice!
All new and no experience. No customer service. No management and no structure. No apology. If it wasn't for my free birthday treat code I would of walked out. Queued for 35 minutes. My lunch break is 45 minutes. You can't go on like this. Caffe Nero never does this to me and I love their services. Once bitten twice shy !
Awful. Waited in line for 15 minutes because noone’s manning the till, and once someone did, got told that they’re not serving any cold drinks anymore because a staff left early. ‍ I left rather than get a drink I don’t like. I’d have compassion if all the staff are rushing around, but out of three I’ve seen, only one’s making a drink and the rest are visibly slacking. This is a Saturday afternoon, mind, so the place is almost full. Come on, Costa, hire more people when it’s the weekend.
Absolute dump. Hardly anyone in here, yet literally almost every table has uncleared rubbish. Waited alone at the till for about 5 min to get served. I’m not sure what the staff where doing but it certainly wasn’t cleaning or clearing tables.. I feel like I need to go home and have a shower after this experience..
Poor Wi-Fi - often not working. This is an essential for a coffee shop. Luke warm coffee a lot of the time. Staff more intent on having a party than serving customers.
Very very slow service in this Costa. Only one person was making beverages, and he was very slow. After some time, he started working very fast, but the thing was that all the other ladies behind the counter were not helping him.Service: 3/5
Some businesses returned to trade hours after covid. These have not. What's the excuse? They still close so early it's hardly worth going in the afternoon and the wifi is impossible to log onto. I switch tabs to retrieve my code and it closes the sign on only to have to start all over. I am unable to log on and use the wifi. Infuriating. My large latte nearly always has an inch of foam. Aren't lattes supposed to come without foam?
@costacoffee I go to many Costa coffee shops and only in Redhill I have received such rude and unprofessional service from a young lady with a red stripe in her hair who clearly does not like her job and her attitude is appalling to the extent I will not return. a real shame!
The Reigate Cage Yard store gets a high score from me because service has improved enormously over the past few weeks. There are more staff and the long queues and waiting times that were ways present have largely gone.Service: 4/5
