I tried their Real Fruit Smoothie today and loved it. It’s almost a meal in itself. I saw people taking rather large meals, but the smoothie was enough to fill me up. The service was straightforward, friendly and quick, and the place was reasonably clean, considering the size of crowd that was in there.
Good food but slow....services
This has to be the worst place ever. The staff were rude and unhelpful. The drink they sold me was half full and when asked to top the glass up all I got was a rolling of the eyes and a sigh. The staff were openly talking about customers within earshot of those waiting in the queue. The staff were too busy talking to each other in a corner or on their mobile phones and as such three customers walked out without being served having not even been noticed. And to top it all off the crisps I were sold were a week out of date. Fabulous stock rotation and monitoring. NEVER going here again!
We arrived first thing in the morning. The 3 members of staff were sitting around a table and none of them wanted to serve us. Too busy drinking and eating. Young man finally came over pulling faces at his 2 colleagues as though he drew the short straw and had to serve us. We ordered 2 pieces of toast and a tea cake. He took so long he burnt the first tea cake and we never did get the jam just a sarcastic remark about how he didn't know we wanted jam. If he concentrated more on his customers and not his colleagues he may have got this simple order correct and we may have come back another day!!!
Just wanted a tea and milkshake, but please, your staff seem to be reluctant to serve. It was 3.30pm, thought they were cashing up. Guy counting money asked someone to serve us. The lacking of service is usually the thing that drops a review 2 stars. Sorry.
After working nights at the hospital, I always eat breakfast at Cafe Piazza. The food is always freshly prepared and there a range of healthy options. The staff are nice and efficient and I never had to wait more than 3 or 4 minutes for a full breakfast.
Uncooked sausages, burnt hash browns and burnt toast. The girl on the till was nice though. She gets a star. Nothing else though, the coffee was average, the other servers were rude and dismissive and the food is atrocious!
One member of staff in this establishment was very rude, openly mocking me when I placed my order. I did not want to make a scene in front of my young daugher but will not be going to this place again. I don't think it is appropriate for this sort of person to be dealing with the public. We also heard him saying s*** when we were sitting down, in front of young children.
Very casual rather dingy looking cafe with ok coffee but seemed to be popular with older shoppers. The staff looked unkempt without a uniform and loose hair.
Excellent pit stop when out shopping for coffee tea cakes etc.... good choice of hot food but not table service sadly. Cafeteria style queue up with tray if you're ok with that
