Booked a last minute stay for a night at the Corries and it was such a lovely place. Great view over the loch from the living/dining room area and comfortable bedrooms. We were served tea and cake when we arrived and also really enjoyed the breakfast selection! Rooms: Good sized, clean, comfortable Walkability: Difficult to access without a car Food & drinks: Tea and cake on arrival was lovely, great breakfast selection in the morning
Fantastic! What a great B&B. Terrific location, lovely building, spotlessly clean. Just ideal. We had a warm welcome from owner Brodie, and shown to a lovely room. Clean, modern, warm. Just what you want. There was even a complimentary dram of single malt which went down very well! Breakfast was very nice and Brodie really knows the local area and happy to offer ideas. Well worth the money. Be aware that apart from one hotel/restaurant next door, there's no where within easy walking distance to eat, so make sure you book your evening meals. It's not a deal breaker though by any means. Just book at one of the several local places to eat. I can't recommend it highly enough. And Loch Lomond is just stunning!
Brodie was an exceptional host and welcomed us upon arrival with tea on the viewing deck. The house itself is absolutely stunning on the inside and outside. Beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean, even including a dram of whisky to help us settle in. Breakfast was cooked to perfection by Brodie and absolutely delicious.Rooms: 5/5
I absolutely had a perfect stay! We drove from Skye to this B and B and were warmly welcomed. I should have taken more pictures of this place to show you. On the map it looks a bit far off from the water and restaurant, it is not. Super clean and modern, in our room we had a dram of whiskey. They have a easy walking path to the nearby restaurant/ hotel. I didn’t know there was a dog until I met her outside. She walked over and I fell in love with how sweet, she was. Definitely recommend you stay here. Oh the breakfast was really nice ! I only wished we could stay longer. Magnificent photos in the house ! Great communication. I thought I left my Boyfriends favorite vest there , and he replied quickly. I forgot to email him back that we found it.
Beautiful setting for this great B&B. Lovely house and bedroom. Very clean and bright. Great food in the morning with drinks and snacks available throughout. Brodie the host is very friendly and helpful with great attention to detail. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.
A lovely little B&B, a short distance from the beaten track and up an exciting hill we weren't sure the car would manage. The B&B boasts exceptional views over Loch Lomand, which really is its stand out feature. Otherwise, the rooms were very comfortable, well equipped, and clean. The bathroom could have been a little larger and the water pressure a little more forgiving, but neither were hugely problematic. The owner was very friendly, and provided a lovely breakfast. The one slight disappointment was a rather over-eager guard dog, which took an instant dislike to me and had a good bark as I tried to get into the B&B. I'm a fan of dogs, but if I hadn't been I think I'd have been rather intimidated - it was a little unnerving even to the initiated dog lover. The B&B owner didn't call off his dog particularly quickly either, which again would have been problematic if I'd been unsure of dogs. With the exception of the guard dog issue and I'm sure he was just an overeager chappie a lovely B&B and worth a visit.
We loved our stay at the Corries Bed and Breakfast. Brody is a wonderful and accommodating host. He does a great job with the details a dram of Scotch and bottled water in our room, nice linens, well stocked lounge, tea and cake upon our arrival, wonderful Scottish breakfast. He even helped us select a hike and printed the route description. Our room was comfortable, quiet and immaculately clean. The views from the lounge above Loch Lomand were breathtaking. We highly recommend the Corries B&B.
The location was beautiful, the accommodation cosy and classy and Brodie was a fantastic host. I eat plant based/vegan and he catered for it in everyway, which i really appreciated. Definately recommend staying if you are visiting the loch lomond area.Rooms: 5/5
