Planning portal to comment about proposed planning is diabolical. Very complicated to access and give very short time to make comments before being timed out. You need to basically compose your comments on a word document and then copy and paste. It needs to be made far more easy to allow the general public to voice their opinions. Also very inconsistent with regard to putting up proposed notices - some areas have them all over the place whilst in our local area no notice advising of plans! What are the rules and why is it in selective areas.
It seems that whether you have planning permission or not, you can steal your neighbours land and access rights to your property, and Cornwall Council Planners won't do a thing to stop it from happening. It's actually fantastic news for crooks, you can all have peace of mind. Instead, you will be pressurised to take the matter to court and spend upwards of £50k fighting a losing battle because the law is on the side of thieves.
Total shambles. The planning committee disregarded over 160 objections and passed the application.
