a lovely scenic walk done the circular walk still had plenty in the legs so done the two hills. very boggy n managed to loose way a bit tho eventually found path and long road back. got blister on foot but wont put me off.will definitely do again
A lovely circular walk we like to do. Just about 6 miles and the terrain is easy going.
Beautiful scenery and different walks of various distance.
Up in the hill so beautiful walks, great for view. Visitor centre, cafe and very helpful staff.
Small place, worth the stop by. The guys behind the counter was friendly and made good coffee. The place is small but has more offerings than you would expect. Worth a stop by if your fishing or walking the cut.
Attended this location as it was the starting point for a circular walk of the " Greenock Cut ". Before starting the walk popped into the Visitor Centre which has a good interactive exhibition relating to the " Cut ". Didn't spend enough time looking before getting on with walk. Have to say if you are into walking, worth a visit. Both the Visitor Centre and the nearby cafe very popular especially by the time we got back, very busy. One for a return visit.
Really nice place with facilities. There are toilets and cafe. And finally amazing views. There are at least 6 trails with different walking time and different difficulty. Dog friendly paths. I would highly recommend to every nature lover
Loved this walk views are great full circuit from 2 car park areas Walkin shoes recommended Won't be disappointed
It is a nice and easy walk. On the right side of the car park, the aqueduct nature trail is well maintained with wooden board walk all the way to the top. Came back to the car park and noticed a cafe to the left of the car park so went in to get something to eat. Then went pass the cafe to have a walk along the reservoir. Good for family walking even with small children.
Beautiful area with a relaxing atmosphere. For scenery I would suggest taking the 45 minute Greenock cut nature trail, the trail has a beautiful path easy to walk..
