A great space for musicians of all levels. Not just a nice store with an interesting selection. There are many opportunities for creative people and those who want to learn to play or record their own music professionally. Very friendly team, quality service.
The humbleness of this shop definitely doesn't have an effect on its impact. The facilities are fantastic and the surrounding community is so large you'll most definitely find people who share the same musical passion. I come here every Monday for classical guitar lessons and every time I am welcomed which is always a nice extra. The interior is nicely furnished and interiors include a shop with a wide range of instruments, refreshments, individual practice rooms and teaching facilities, toilets and it also contains Gojo video rentals, which was relocated there about a year ago. Overall, if you're looking for a place to purchase or browse musical materials or you're interested in lessons, Core Music is the way to go.
Very welcoming friendly staff, extremely knowledgeable and full of useful advice, excellent tutoring services for a variety of instruments, with highly trained and experienced tutors that go above and beyond to try and cater for all the individual students needs. Great community spirit and atmosphere encouraged by all those involved. I highly recommend core music for all your musical needs.
Happy place. Lovely people. Great tutors. The guitars and uke's are great value. I am not competent to comment on other instruments, but I am confident they will help, honestly, and definitely not overcharge. I can only think that they imagine music is good for people.
Love it here. Friendly helpful unbiased advice to encourage you with developing your gift in making music. Small but tempting selection of guitars. Good selection of consumables. Open till 8 every day except Sundays.

Fantastic, independent small music shop with a HUGE range of instruments, also many lessons are held here and they sell tickets for many of the local music events, so a great place to visit if you are looking for advice or inspiration. Also offers dvd rental as the former GOJO records has relocated here

Popped in this afternoon for a set of strings, had a nice wee chat with Julie, really friendly lady, very polite and helpful.
