Very quaint and convenient railway station, ideal for access to Newcastle or Hexham/ Carlisle the other way. Frequent service during the day, but more of an hourly service later in the evening. The journey towards Newcastle is very scenic, following the River Tyne along the Tyne Valley.
Corbridge railway station is charming and quaint. Just 5 minute walk from the town with frequent trains into Newcastle etc
Lovely town off the River Tyne. Lovely shops including a very complete kitchenware shop and great bakery shop.
Honestly, it's a fantastic little train station. There's not a huge amount to say about the station itself, but what makes it special is its location. Stepping off the train puts you right in the heart of beautiful Corbridge, one of the most picturesque towns in Northumberland. The surrounding scenery, charming streets, independent shops, and historic atmosphere make it well worth a visit. The station is convenient, easy to use, and serves as the perfect gateway to explore everything Corbridge has to offer. A lovely place to arrive and start your day out.
Handy little station. You can zip into the city with ease. Parking area is tiny though and rather rough for a sports car suspension
