Very nice hosts, absolutely clean and well organized B&B, excellent communication, fantastic breakfast... Don't miss it if you are in the area!!

This bungalow is excellent and the room just simple but great. Janet takes every day care of keeping the property tip top in shape and Mark takes (with his many years of experience in their former larger B&B) care of the inner person with his cooking skills as well as his knowledge of the area. I link my full Scottish breakfast as well as a lighter one and he prepared them excellent. He and Janet give you proper information about things to do as well as directions.

Copperbeech B&B is out of the way, quiet and wonderful for the traveller who likes to stay outside towns and villages. There are some nice walks from the back gate, a short one up the hill as well as along a back path to Crathie Church, with the local visitors centre, Crathie Kirkyard and the gate to Balmoral Castle. Or cross the road and walk to the river Dee, cross it over a small white bridge to the B876 to the right to the main entrance of Balmoral Estate or before that left to Royal Lochnagar Distillery for a guided tour and a wee dram.

Or take the car to Tomintoul the Highest village in the Highlands, Braemar or Ballater, shortly said an excellent central situated B&B in between Ballater and Braemar. Been there done it and enjoyed it.
