A property in this companies name has been left unlocked and accessible. They have also  refused to rent it out to my friend - a small business owner earning well over average. Business owner can’t provide two years of accounts as they have only owned the business for a few months. I am not a customer of this business however I do live across the road from the property in question. The fact they have left the property accessible and unlocked could result in squatters.

My property has been let for over 6 years and living a distance from the rental I needed to be assured of a full efficient service.   I am extremely pleased with Copelands.  

 If any maintenance job needs doing they have a range of builders, plumbers, electricians who quickly puts things right at a reasonable price.   An important aspect of letting is the legal side of the arrangement.  Again I am pleased that this aspect is in the capable hands of  the staff at Copelands.  

The staff at Copelands are simply wonderful, they are truly a friendly bunch of people who sincerely want to help - whatever the concern is.

The property i've just rented out was only on Rightmove for a day, spoke to Jess and she was great throughout the process keeping me regularly updated and answering any questions i had! She's really efficient and is one of the more helpful letting agents i've dealt with :)

I called and spoke to a lady called Jess regarding booking a viewing for a rental property and when asked if I had adverse credit history, I explained I had 1 satisfied ccj on my report. She quickly explained that if I didn’t have proof it was satisfied (a credit report stating ‘satisfied’ is not enough) then I wouldn’t pass referencing, therefore couldn’t book a viewing and quickly ended the call.
As a manager of a well known lettings and property management company, I found this astounding. I wasn’t even given the opportunity to explain that my ccj was for £160, that my earnings exceed 60 times the rental amount, that I could pay rent in advance, that I had a guarantor, that I had a partner with a perfect credit history, or that I had a reference from my current landlord stating that in 7 years I have never once been late with, or missed a rental payment. 
It was as though I was a lepar and she couldn’t wait to get me off the phone quick enough. Poor service.

I give Jacqui and the girls 5 stars. She was very professional and on the ball throughout my recent sale  keeping me posted at every stage .
