I had a fantastic walk around the centre on the walls.
Worthwhile doing please note that it will not be a continuous walls since part of it is damaged but it’s a nice way to see the town from the top. Also the level of difficulty is low and it will take you around an hour’s
Incredibly impressive complete ring of walls, dating from the 13th century. There is a section that is too unsafe for walking on, but you can walk most of the way around, as long as you're reasonably mobile and fit. The views are fantastic and this really feels like touching history.
Lovely walk and excellent views. Watch out for the new one way system. Start near the train station.
Free to enter and easy to explore. It takes perhaps 20 minutes to walk the full length of the walls. Great views of the Castle, Bay and City Center.
Really cool history with these walls surrounding the town. At times the walk was quite steep. Also, I will say, it was a bit confusing on the walls nearest the castle southwest. They seemed to end but then you walked a few blocks and picked back up. Anyways, I would definitely do this if in the city for a visit. 30 minutes max.

Free to go and walk along - great views from the top. Takes around 20-30 mins to walk around them all. Definitely recommended!
