Thanks to all the staff at Connells in Sittingbourne, but especially huge thanks to Sonny Ray, the Manager, we agreed the sale of our house, subject to contract, amazingly quickly. We’d considered it would be hard to sell as there were certain unusual aspects to the property. However, Sonny had other ideas and within a couple of days of us approaching Connells he came to assess the property. He gave what we thought was a very fair valuation given the complexities, and using his excellent business acumen and the customer relationships he has developed, in Sittingbourne and in other geographical areas, over many years, he already knew of two potential cash buyers who were seeking such a property. It proved impracticable for one of these to proceed, but Sonny returned promptly with the other prospective buyer. He liked the potential of the property and could cope with the problems. An offer was made, that we accepted; so, in less than a week the sale was agreed, subject to contract. Thereafter, through to completion and beyond, Sonny wasalways as optimistic as he was realistic, with a lovely soothing manner that was very reassuring. He suits his name ideally. He was always willing to go that extra mile to address our queries -even when off with Covid. Thank you, Sonny, from the bottom of our hearts, for achieving what we had thought was impossible. Sonny Ray is a great ambassador for Connells, and more than ably assisted by all his staff including Donna and Evie; but for us, Izzy too played a key role. We have no hesitation in recommending Sonny Ray and his team of stalwarts at Connells in Sittingbourne for a 5-star house-sale experience.
Having recently sold our house through Connells in Sittingbourne, I have to say that although the process was a lengthy one due to our buyer trying every trick in the book to extend the process as long as possible and reneging on completion dates, Sonny did his best to keep us in the loop with the little to no information he was getting from the buyer and Pamela in particular , who dealt with our mortgage, kept in touch long after her work was done and was every bit as pleased, and relieved as we were when the Sale finally went through.Pamela is a credit too the company. I would highly recommend Connells in Sittingbourne too help you with your house purchase/sale.

If you are looking to sell or buy in Swale - don’t use Connells. The branch is solely focussed on getting new business and NOT progressing what they already have. The staff are not allowed to make any decisions or contact anyone without referring to the branch manager first and he is normally found out looking at properties or leaflet dropping. When our sale did go through, there was no customer service such as conducting meter readings or ensuring their clients left instructions on things like water, heating system etc. The company need to learn some urgent lessons in sales progression and not just selling. In contrast, our estate agent Martin Regan-Kennard Exp was excellent. Someone Connells need to learn from!
