Used to love getting my hair done by the same stylist for years. Until I asked for a perm similar to the GHD curl effect in September. Apparently it is not possible to get this effect from a perm. At no point was I told this. The stylist even asked the owner to source larger curlers. I was left with a mixture of frizz and wave that is neither one thing or another. I went back in the next day as the sides had gone straight and they we redone 3 weeks later. They went straight again and I wrote a letter of complaint to the owner as it was nothing like I wanted and there was never any hope of it being remotely like I wanted. It took 2 weeks to get a response (from a receptionist!) offering me a complimentary cut and conditioning treatment. As I'd had my hair cut elsewhere by then and was going on holiday I said I would contact them when I got back. I went into the salon Mid-december to try to arrange to speak to the owner, left my number and what it was concerning and haven't heard a word since! Meanwhile, I've had to walk around with hair that you couldn't even call a style and have incurred further expense by having to buy a styling wand so I can try to make myself presentable to leave the house.
