Family run butchers based in the west perthshire village of comrie

Story

We are based in Comrie, West Perthshire.
An original family butcher in the heart of Scotland.
I am the seventh consecutive generation of butcher in the family, our business David Comrie & Son was established in Muthill Perthshire in 1835.
Here at "comrie butchers" we manufacture by hand using very well established recipes all over the products we sell, practically everything we make has won an award at sometime.
Whether it be black or white puddings, haggis sausages or burgers we make them all.

We have bought all our meat during our holiday from this amazing butchers, everything delicious and high quality. Sadly going home but have filled our cool box with a variety of lovely meats ! The staff were so friendly and really was a pleasure to visit. Can’t wait to return and this will definitely be our go to butcher . Thank you
Whenever I have the good fortune to visit Comrie I always stop at this Butcher and take home a selection of their burgers. They are my absolute favourite. Today we had Lamb, Venison, Beef and Pork. All were fantastic and went down a storm with my family. The staff can never do enough for you. When I asked to leave my purchase at the shop until I returned from a hillwalk, the butcher offered that if I wasn't back before closing he would leave them with the grocer across the road. He also gave me some valuable tips for my hillwalking route. Must go back soon.
We are a french family and during our stay in Comrie we greatly appreciated the quality of this butcher's meat. Sausages, lamb chops, bacon, ham etc. everything is excellent and the prices are very reasonable.
Had to give 1 star to comment, otherwise would have been 0. We went into the butcher to get eggs, the boy behind the counter was pleasant. However as well got outside the shop, we realised that £2.15 for 6 eggs was too expensive, we turned around asked to return them. The owner refused point blank saying something along the lines of "no, no way" to say that this man is rude is an understatement. Purely because of his customer service or lack of we shall certainly not be returning.
The sausages are amazing and the meat pies. Best butchers I have ever been too Wish I could get the sausage down here in York.
High quality meat and brilliant customer service! There's nothing they didn't have. What more could you ask for?!
