Billed my Bupa cover £192 for two one hour physio sessions when I had a total of 2 codes for three body parts which required treatment, so should have been allowed to have this number of treatments not limited to two. Explained this to them but they were having none of it. Would not recommend and felt the quality of treatment was poor anyway. . Another physio with a non proactive approach using heat and cold therapies instead of exercise and massage therapy. Would highly recommend WS Therapies for sports massage also based in Waterloo. Would recommend the Treatment Table over these for physio based in Speke and Seaforth
I have been lucky enough to have the privilege to be treated by Stephanie and her expertise. I was in a car accident in 1990 and suffered whip lash. I had accepted my bodies limitations and had struggled to re-pattern from my injury 31 years ago. But after working with Stephanie for about 6 months, I have made immense progress. Other physiotherapists left me feeling defeated. Not Stephanie! she has brought new awareness and mobility to my body, I never though was possible. She has the ability to assess and understand the body and work within its limitations. She spends every second of the appointment full on with the client. She is and wants to be the best at what she does. She treats her clients with the utmost care and attention to detail. As a result, I am stronger more confident and strengthening my body in my aging years. She is worth 6 stars!
Cant recommend Compass highly enough. Steph has been treating my shoulder injury she is very professional with a friendly personality.
I am a lorry driver and was having trouble with my back and hip. Sue is amazing she diagnosed there were several issues. When Sue wasn't available I saw Steph and she was great. Sue recommended and arranged a scan for me. It was worth every penny and confirmed exactly what she suspected. She also recommended Pilates which my Wife Alison and I find really beneficial. Sue never recommends anything that wasn't necessary and tries to keep cost to a minimum. Everyone here is friendly, professional and well worth traveling from Liverpool for. I would highly recommend
Excellent treatment by Sue following knee replacement surgery x2. Sensible advice and encouragement. Knees felt much improved in days following treatment. Unfortunately my healthcare scheme would only allow a limited number of treatments. Lovely reception staff
Couldn’t recommend this place high enough . I dealt with the lady Steph who was professional , polite , friendly, nice and honest aswell as the receptionists. I had previous surgeries that didn’t leave me in a place I thought they would leave me . Steph was great with helping , and honest to the point of saving costs to me as after a few sessions advised some exercises I could do at home and come back further apart for treatments . She was honest when I got to a point where she could not get me beyond and advised to make an appointment as and when I feel I need to , could have easily encouraged me to come back every week but advised was not cost effective for me. Would highly recommend.
I visited compass physiotherapy after experiencing pain in my knee patella tendonopathy training. Upon visiting, the staff were friendly however the knowledge and advice seemed outdated. It felt rushed and she just looked at it. I was told to do absolutely nothing besides rest and swimming and was advised that weights are the worse thing I could do. Obviously anyone with this condition knows complete rest is not an effective treatment for this condition. I was more clueless coming out than I was when I went in. I was given a heatwave treatment which was completely ineffective Highly not recommended! I am in much better hands now, where I thoroughly examined and properly diagnosed, I am now getting the right treatment;shockwave therapy with a progressing weight loading programme and on the right road to recovery!
Had an appointment with Sue and straight away she spotted the numerous problems, referred me for an MRI and it came back confirming everything that Sue had said. Excellent diagnostic clinician as well as professional, personable and approachable. Would definitely recommend this group.
I’m a self employed gardener and from time to time my back and neck start to ache so I’ll make an appointment to see Gel and she works wonders. The next day your sore but the following day you feel great... Also what I liked was she said to make an appointment when you start to feel sore and not a regular fortnightly/monthly visit just for the sake of spending money there... Quality!
I couldn't recommend this place more. Sue is an angel, and I always get out of there feeling better. She truly cares about people.
