This is a well deserved title, best pub in fife winner and previous best in Scotland, high contenders for the best in the UK, to which i certainly give my vote. The food was incredible, they have some of the best selection of ales also featuring "inveralomnd brewery". You must give this pub a visit if you are traveling to fife or like me are a local and had no idea it was here, a true local gem for me.
Great pub ,Great service ,Great Food, Great Prices Nice menu plenty of choices Chicken Fajitas were exceptional ,Chilli Chicken was delicious the portion size is huge . We will be back
Heard good things about this place being CAMRA's pub of the year. Enjoyed a good guest beer here and sampled some of the food. Food was fine but felt portion size was small for the price. Good atmosphere and location, I would go back again in future.
A brilliant traditional pub. Great beer, friendly diligent staff. Tonight was busy, but the barman cleaned the table before we sat down and also charged my phone.

Great selection of well looked after beer. Good food by the looks of it. This is a pub for you to enjoy a good reasonably priced pint of beer without the scrum of push chairs etc that feature at another well known hostelry down the road.
Love this bar. It's not changed that much since I moved here in 2002 New owner has done magic with the menu. Is now go BEST BAR award and deserves it Menu is brilliant Staff are a dream and knowledgeable Keep it up x
Went in here a few times before Covid, and the atmosphere was always good and the people friendly. The only thing that used to let it down was the toilets, they were so old and frankly not that clean. Went in last week and I was pleasantly surprised, the bar was spotless and the toilets had been renewed, what a difference, will certainly be back now. Also the girl behind the bar couldn't have been nicer.
Poor layout, minimal seating and atrocious Guinness pouring. Staff dotting about clueless on how to use the card readers or how to pour measures. Such a shame for such an old institution in town. Please do better.
Richly deserved Fife pub of the year 2022. Haddock bake was exceptionally lovely and much tastier than it looked
