Didn’t expect to be surprised by a flower market but I did! you could essentially start seeing people carrying flowers and pots once you are in proximity of the market, and it was a clear sign that it was something amazing Never had I been in a flower market that sports such crowds, with a good majority of people carrying bouquets and pots around! The scent of flowers also engulfed the entire street, making it superbly pleasant to shop around Definitely a flower market not to be missed even if you aren’t there to buy flowers or plants!
Columbia Road Flower Market is a real treat for the senses. A beautiful selection of flowers and plants to choose from and a lively atmosphere. Would recommend getting there early as it soon gets busy. Lined with wonderful independent shops, it makes for a great morning.
so many options to choose from! the prices only vary a small amount as you walk down the street but very affordable. try get there as early as u can as it does get quite busy. if u don’t want to carry your followers in your hands, you should bring some sort of bag like paper or tote. there are many coffee shops also on the road. a lot of the stalls are cash and card but some only accept cash.

The only downside is that the market itself is located on a relatively small street, so your visit may be shorter than expected. I wish the market extended over a longer route, but it's still a delightful spot to visit and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
This is a magic experience, if you like flowers and plants, this is your next place to enjoy. Also, you will find a nice Caffès where you can enjoy a hot or cold drink along with a piece of cake. Be ready to go back home with a lovely bunch of flowers
Everytime if I have chance to come to London on Sunday, this Flower Market always takes my heart first. From roses to cottage flowers, leaves, exotic plants & seasonal flower plants, you all can find here with stunning quality. This market is an additional charm to the well-known London Bring cash is recommended as the Flower Sellers prefer
This is THE only place to shop for your houseplants, trees for your garden and cut flowers . Open from 8am till around 4. TOP TIP, CASH IS KING HERE..although most do accept card payments. I cannot recommend this market enough, if you need it, they sell it!! Even open on todays storm tossed London.
We love columbia road flower market, best to go early 9am arrival perfect as it does get very crowded as of 10-11. stroll through, buy a few flowers or plants, some are a real bargain. Some of the little shops along the road or in the adjacent have curated pottery and vintage items. We love the place that dues the turmeric swirls and also does a killer coffee. If you have kids the playground in the park is really good
I visited the flower market at the weekend. It gets crowded around noon, but it's quieter around 10 am, making the morning a better time to visit. The bouquets are reasonably priced and fresh. Additionally, you can enjoy tea, pastries, and find some souvenirs.
The best place to get flowers and plants. Reasonable prices and wonderful variety. I just got a lemon tree today, in addition to the bonsais I got. A wonderful Sunday trip for families and friends. A lot of nice boutiques there too, including coffee and pastries. Highly recommend!
