Ate there once and attemped a second meal. First time was for lunch, the food was average for fish and chips. Wait staff seemed perturbed to do their job. On a Friday night I arrived at 8:45 by myself, 45 minutes before the posted closing time. I was told sorry they were about to close. What a let down, the fried chicken shop across the street was happy to serve me. I will not be returning, due to the poor service.
Didn't enjoy the pie, just a pukka pie warmed up, micro waved peas which were tasteless and warm chips. Decor of restaurant really tired and dated and the bright lights inside with the uncovered windows made me feel like I was eating in a goldfish bowl.
Fish is fresh and delicious, good menu. Staff always pleasant and helpful, very clean and simple restaurant. We are never disappointed.
Visited close to their closing time but they still had a good selection of food available. Everything we had tasted fresh so no complaints.
Pies were warmed up in the microwave, the pastry was tough, the meat barely warm, the chips were small portioned for the money and bordering on cold, never again.
Stopped here for fish and chips on the way home from coach trip must have been 40 or more people excellent service freshly cooked fish and chips with icecream to follow everybody enjoyed it
Very good family run fish and chip shop and restaurant, very good traditional fish and chips well cooked, friendly helpful staff.
Had to wait for fresh cooked cod and chips for 4 people, some how they where only warm, would have give 5 stars for hot food
Its closing Oh No Just had a great Friday Fish & Chip meal you cannot beat the price !!
Nice quiet sit-down diner-style restaurant. Well made food and menu had variety.
