Typical Marstons pub. Has a pizza oven in it so they do proper pizzas. Service albeit a bit slow was friendly given the current situation and staff were apologetic about it. Food was fine.
After a long working week, I popped into College Farm for after-work drinks and ended up staying for food. I'd heard about their pizza kitchen and was eager to try. On arriving the bar staff were welcoming and friendly. We ordered starters to begin which were generous portions. Then the pizza arrived on slate platter with cutter, fresh from the pizza oven and cooked to perfection. I would recommend the Smoky BBQ, as staff were only too happy to replace the chicken with mini meatballs. Winner!
The minute you walk in you are greeted with a warm welcome. The staff are so friendly and helpful even offered to take a group photo of us, that went a long way with us, its the little extras and the fact they all go the extra mile that make you want to go back. The food was beautifully cooked and very well priced. Its really clean and looks well looked after. I won't hesitate to come back again. Thank you to each and every staff member that make our visit so enjoyable.
This was our first visit; we went for dinner. It very much has a pub food feel rather than a pub drink layout and vibe 7/10. Dogs are permitted in most areas, and a water bowl and treats were offered 10/10. Staff are friendly 9/10 and food is good 7/10. I almost never complain about food but when I did the staff unreservedly provided a replacement meal, checking a couple of times that everything was OK 10/10. Recommended and we will go back.
We absolutely enjoyed our time having Breakfast with Santa event. The staff here are wonderful and friendly. The highlight was in the time and patience Santa had with talking to the children. He has to be the best Santa . Thank you for our lovely time and well done to the staff who are going above and beyond to make it special.
The food was terrible, I had a burger and it was as dry as a desert, it had no sauce neither cheese and only around 5 pieces of lettuce. I also ordered a mac and cheese but it said it would come with a drizzle of BBQ sauce on top instead it was covered in it. As well I ordered a scampi and chips but unfortunately it came looking like a children's portion, my scampi and chips was edible but all of these meals were cold. For our starter we ordered breaded mushrooms which luckily we're quite nice. The service was very good and the staff were nice these are only 2 reasons why they have 1 star. Overall it was not a good experience.
Great food, cooked my Brandon and Cameron. The service was amazing by Joe P who was so accommodating and welcoming. Nothing was too much of an effort. I will definitely be coming again!
We enjoy coming to College Farm. The menu is great for our fussy 4 year old brands he knows and loves and has variety for the adults. The kids area is a bonus and the main reason our son always wants to come back. Staff as always were lovely. Moved our booked table to accommodate the pram. And were quick to rectify a mistake of my making
Had a brilliant evening yesterday at the College Farm Watchfield for a family get together. The staff were great, looking after our fairly large group, and Brandon was very attentive, ensuring everything was to our satisfaction. The food was really good as was the service. Would recommend going to anyone.
We visited this establishment tonight for a family meal, the restaurant was fairly quiet for the time of our visit which was around 4.45pm. We ordered food, and was told that there was a 45 minute wait time, that was fine with us and we weren’t worried. But way over an hour later and only half of our table was served and we had to go and ask the staff member behind the till where the rest was. The restaurant was only running on 2 members of waiting staff which it wasn’t their fault but clearly they needed more help and by 6pm they were turning people away because they had so much to do and clearly couldn’t cope with the work load!! I think whoever is in charge of the overall company needs to address their staffing shortages as with Christmas coming up those poor members of staff that are currently run off their feet will be exhausted if they don’t get the help they clearly need.
