One and only mosque in Colchester town. Located in town centre across priory car park. Ground floor for Men and 1st floor for Women with different entrance. Also have a comfortable ablution place and great toilet. If you're moslem and feel alone in this city, just come here and let's socialize.
As a girl who loves her food, shopping & reviewing, I couldn't personally review this mosque as it's for Muslim prayers for men. However my partner does go here & he says it's a very clean, recently renovated building that has been undergoing a lot of work for the past couple of years. The Muslim community came together to build & renovate this building. It is now finished & my partner says it is lovely inside especially now the beautiful carpets were laid down. Very nice masjid. Quite big inside even though you can't tell from the outside. Nice wudu facilities. Great location for if you're in Colchester visiting the castle or other attractions nearby.
Great place for men and women to pray with plenty of parking space.
Great place. Highly recommended place for muslims especially if you are new in town and it's Ramadhan. For others, you can also meet the Imam to discuss about Islam and make syahadah.

A truly wonderful and spiritual place. A young new age imam who is proactive in the LGBTQ community and works with the various feminist groups to bring the joys of Islam to all people. Some wonderful speakers from Saudi Arabia regularly share their views and welcome new recruits with open arms. It’s great to see the Islamic community continue to grow and thrive in Colchester, hopefully we will be like Luton one day.
