AVOID!! Missing medication all the time for my 80yr mum, say they haven't any stock all the time and her weekly prescription was always late, and she had days missing without her tablets! They really don't care! Changed chemist now to boots Langworthy Rd so so much better no problems there! This 1 needs closing down!!!
Avoid this chemist. They constantly failed a palliative care patient in their delivery of regular weekly medication. Items constantly missing. Delayed antibiotics etc. Complained to dispensary staff and they would laugh down the phone. Completely unprofessional hence moving to a new chemist. Shameful standards!
Rude, got my prescription wrong multiple times becomes I walked out the door and realized they were wrong I couldn't get my money back so had to pay for the wrong ones and the right ones. Keep telling me they haven't been issued by my gp and I have to ring them for my gp to Tel me they have been issued you need to Tel them
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff who liaise well with the GP’s. Highly recommend
Been with them a year and trying to find new chemist. Can never get through on phone 80 failed calls a time. Takes them days to order in medications. They never deliver when they say they will my medications sit for a week on the shelf’s as I can not get through on phone to ask them to bring them Even tho they are reminded every time I’m disabled and live in a bungalow and NEED delivery. I have to wait for family to visit weekly from Liverpool to go and get my medications then another week if it’s out of stock as they forget to deliver. It’s a dreadful chemist service.
Since joining them about 5 months ago they have never delivered my disabled friends asthma inhaler on time. Disgusting! Again they have not delivered my disabled friends blister pack when they said they would. So he now has no tablets until Tues/wed? We're going back to Lloyd's chemist . Cohens have always had problems delivering even before covid and brexit.
I'm absolutely horrified, despite extremely extenuating circumstances, the staff were not able to arrange delivery of incredibly important medication without "making sure the manager is okay with it", and rather than contact them, to alert them to the urgency of the situation- they simply refused to do anything until they "are in tomorrow" and then when asked if they are allowed to arrange these deliveries, I was told "Yes, we can, but I want to clear this with the manager first."- leaving me without any guarantee that vital medication would be able to be delivered and a complete disregard for diagnosed disease. I'm utterly horrified. I should note that the GP felt the urgency of this medication and arranged a prescription on the day of contact. But this pharmacy did not take that approach whatsoever.
Really disappointed with the service I received today, I waited 30 minutes to speak to the pharmacist which as the woman on the counter told me I had to do before purchasing what I needed. I left the shop after waiting so long as it was a sensitive subject why I was there to begin with and went elsewhere.
I changed to this chemist after having multiple problems with the staff at a chemist in Monton village. There was a young man that worked there that seemed like he was on a power trip. Therefore I was dreading dealing with the staff from another chemist. This chemist was the complete opposite. The staff are friendly and understanding. They help with any problems that may arise with attaining your medication. There is a young female pharmacist that works there who is so pleasant and helpful, the complete opposite of my experience with the chemist in Monton village and Boots chemist in Manchester City centre.. I wanted to add that again I had problems with my prescription/g.p and it really causes me so much stress as I'm not in great health at the moment.. Again the lovely staff at this chemist went above and beyond and sorted out the issue or me. No other chemist I've ever dealt would take the time out from their busy work and do this for me. The staff are really something special here.
Sat here nearly an hour now with my 89 years old grandmother waiting for one cream prescription. Just how slow can you be? Dreadful service. Monday 7th Oct 2019 6pm. It takes up to 60 redials at times, the phone just rings out and they don't answer... Dreadful.
