Coffee Stop

They recently decreased size of milkshakes drastically but kept prices the same. Would have been good to know it was going to be a third less than last time before buying. Shake was still good though.

Compact and nice place to try pastries and coffee.

Both my Mum and Gran bought tea. My mum has milk in her tea, but my grandmother has it without. The girl who served us was pretty quiet towards us as she was too busy laughing and talking to her co-worker who was in the kitchen. We paid for the drinks and sat down as we were waiting for my Gran’s bus. My Mum and Gran both took a drink of their tea at the same time. My Gran scolded her mouth and throat. My Mum was lucky that hers had milk to cool it down but even she burned her mouth. I had to go and buy water for my gran to cool her mouth and throat down. My gran took the tea back and politely told the girl serving us that she had scolded her mouth and throat, and that a warning on the cup and a warning when handing the tea over that it is scolding hot would be a good idea. She simply said “oh... sorry about that.....” and turned back to her colleague. No offer to refund the drink, no offer to help in any other way, and a very insincere apology. Safe to say, we won’t be back here again.

Didn’t like it at all very over priced would rather go to Costa or Starbucks both are in the centre.

A Saturday, three weeks before Christmas, and the Christmas Market just across the road, the place was manic, people queueing for seats, yet the over worked staff kept smiling and serving good coffee Well done.

Friendly and welcoming.
