A very nice high street clothing shop for woman's dresses. It may look like a small shop but it has a ground floor and you will only realize when you go inside. Party dresses, evening dresses, professional dresses and lots of other varieties to chose from. I recommend this place. Thank you.
The no stress place to buy lady wedding guest / bridesmaids clothing at short notice. Large size range / selection. Similar colours but different styles for bridesmaids. Large downstairs selection. Huge changing rooms. 20% student discount. They have sales. More fascinators / hairpieces than actual hats. Slightly slow till service but staff ++ polite kind and helpful.
I purchased a dress here on a Friday in July as a gift for my sister who didn't like the fit. I went back on the Monday to get either a refund or an exchange when the assistant took the dress away from the till claiming she would be back soon. She came back around 10 minutes later with a different dress of the same size and design that had damages on it that my dress did not have. Me and my husband felt cheated and are very disappointed that such a good chain is up to this sort of work ethic, that can only be described as fraudulent! As a regular customer I can confirm that the clothing at Coast is among the best, but this is a seemingly new practice that I must make others wary of so that they can avoid assistants taking their items away unsupervised. Given I am furious that I lost my money and dress, I will be following this up and calling somebody at head office level but hopefully nobody else will go through this and whoever is reading this should let people know about this.
Love the clothes. It kind of puts you off shopping there when the assistants are shouting "40 seconds, 30 seconds, 20 seconds" at each other. Essentially counting down how long they have left before they can shut the store. Then rudely chucked everyone out "it 8pm, everything is shut, till shut, shop shut". How about doing your job properly and letting customers know how long they have to finish their purchases instead of acting unprofessionally.
I do not recommend this dress,the quality of the back seam is very poor and gives way -I bought this dress last week for my mum’s funeral; I ordered both a size 12 and a size 14. The size 12 fitted,so I wore it on the day of the funeral,after a few hours the back seam gave way in two places so there would two holes under the zip,back seam -I was mortified,as I had to wear that all day and my guests noticed.The next day I tried the size 14 in again to check the quality of the dress,although the back seam looked fine,as soon as you move -I out my shoes on,the back seam pops and a hole appeared.i have returned both dresses as faulty and requested a full refund; what a shame as my mum loved coast,and this was supposed to be a good memory of her -wearing a dress she would love,from a shop she loved at her funeral-very disappointed.i didn’t take photos of the holes but they were about 1 cm and the other was about 3cms.
It's a nice shop if you want to buy overpriced women dresses, which, I have to admit, are really pretty. A warning for all the, probably paying husbands, you are not allowed anywhere close to the changing rooms, and you really don't feel welcome at all.
Extremely helpful staff when my wife had to change a dress bought for my son's wedding.She will certainly recommend the oxford st store to all of her friends. Wonderful staff.
Antinea is a miracle worker: she tracked down an exclusive dress only the oxford street store had that my friend had tried a week ago and organised it shipped via Coast by Post to Dublin in time for my friend's birthday party. Now that is incredible dedication to customer satisfaction. Thanks again Antinea!
The store is well stocked and the staff were very helpful despite the store being very busy at the time I visited. Excellent service . I will definitely recommend visiting this store if you are looking for something special
We had the worst experience ever! The staff were not bothered to deal with customers until we went downstairs there was only one lady actually WORKING. She was so lovely.
