Nice small park to go to with a playground area, lots of grass to play around, a bee area with many flowers and tall trees. It's a good everyday park for children to play football or small games and it is commemorated by an inscription on the obelisk located in the centre of the park. There is also a ramp area for skateboarding and a basketball and tennis area at the 'bottom' of the park if you look at a birds eye view with north up. A good place for dogs to play together but please clean up your dog's business. Playground: Small with slide, swings and a few other small games. Dog-friendliness: Good place foe dogs to play.
Coalville Park has a small car park and good paths suitable for wheelchairs etc. Originally owned by the Coalville Athletic Club who donated it to the local inhabitants for free and forever.
A fantastic park for young toddlers and up, there is a lovely roundabout with pushchair and wheel chair access. Zip line, a short assault course, multiple swings, multiple slides, a very nicely kept garden with a marked 400meter run. Basically a park that someone really has made the effort with planning and executing
Lovely park but the youths sitting sharing their drugs needs "sorting" particularly when it's in view of young mothers and their children.
Lovely peaceful, well maintained park. My dog won't let me walk past without going in
Had a good cry this morning when I saw the metal statue of a first world war soldier in Coalville Park. Extremely moving. #soproudtobeBritish
First time back at the park with my 8 years old great grandson. He loved the new equipment in the play area. The zip wire had a small queue and very soon they were all helping each other and having a fantastic time. He cannot wait to visit again. I was impressed with the beautiful, litter free areas.
Lovely grassed area, skateboard ramps, various play equipment for different age groups. Tennis court. Well kept. Pleasant visit.
It’s a good park with very nice and beautiful planting. The park has been of particular importance when it comes to bringing people together both before and after covid. Events of note include picnic in the park and the outdoor cinema.
A great outside venture for those wanting to gain excecise, especially children. There's ample equipment for adults & loads for the kids to do. A running track is also there. All open air with good car parking and toilets.
