I had the amazing opportunity to experience the Sky VIP lounge, it was absolutely fabulous. Service was extremely friendly and signage on the way in was great. Getting out however was quite stressful as the arena didn’t have signs pointed telling us where the car park was, however there were lots of members of staff around to help !!!
Loved the concert, got the backstage pass, but sadly had technical difficulties at the entrance so ended up stuck in a queue anyway. Drinks were as you'd expect at a venue, good but expensive. Food was extortionate.nnConcert itself was amazing with the venue put to good use and excellent sound.
Attended The Eagles concert on Saturday June 8th. It is a very big concert hall and quite steep especially on the third tier. If you are not keen on heights then the second tier is probably more comfortable.nIf you are planning to travel by tram to the venue then be warned the queue after the concert was very very long. It took over an hour to board the tram but then you do have around 28 thousand people all trying to leave one way or another. Sound was very good but the screens could be bigger especially the two side screens. It was a great concert but for me it's too big. If you like big concerts you'll love this arena. It was well organized and the people were helpful and friendly.
Easy and efficient access to the venue. Staff friendly and approachable. Food overpriced and weird that you have to open all cans in front of a staff member. Sound and view good from block 315. Plenty of loos! Seats seem rather small I'm only a size 14 as when you have a big coat to deal with in the winter, I don't know really where you'd put it.
On arrival there was plenty of staff directing to entrances , q was long but moved along nicely. Security was pretty rapid for us too.nJust be prepared with your e ticket loaded u can tap it using the nfc function or hold it sideways to scan the code.nLoads of room in the concourse we went into , plenty of bars . But but but the prices are totally taking advantage of the fact you either pay it or don't have a drink at all.nOnce in seats were comfy the acoustics r good even up high towards the back due to its design u get a decent view.nDuring the gig 1 idiot got too excited security were pretty quick to speak to , maybe he needed his nappy changing who knows , but he'd be OK as they r plenty of toilets etc.nI can c every big band coming here in the future .nI've given it 5 but I would say 4.5 due to the prices of refreshments.nOverall a good well run venue it seems. I'm certain they will fine tune things even better.nBig shout to the manc metro staff too very good at moving crowd to and from.nnAnd yes we did just have fun.nnSee photos Inc the price of one small can of lager
