I was just paying for my food and after that a worker by the name of james which was said on his badge walked into me, barging me without an apology or any notice of him doing so. I feel disgusted by his attitude towards me and wont be shopping here again because of his attitude towards me. The other workers are nice with them being considerate. I hope the COOP looks into this young adults behaviour and penalises him.
This place needs an intervention from Co-op leadership team. The place is falling apart, the tills are empty, the shelves are a mess, staff are miserable and rude - constant queues at the kiosk, it's just a horrible shop. It's as if the Cooperative have just forgot about it and are leaving it to rot.
Way more expensive than any other shops.
Ok to pop into for a few bits n bobs and a bottle of wine, and the staff are really friendly and personable. Barely anyone on the main tills so you have to be prepared to pack your stuff very quickly at the kiosk with a queue of half a dozen people behind you. It's also an Amazon collection point which is fantastic! Stock can be a bit hit and miss, half of the freezers can be empty or switched off, and insane prices on some items e.g. £7.50 for kitchen roll.nnEdit: 5 months after my original review I've dropped it from 4 to 2 stars. I'm sick of the increasingly long queues to get served at the kiosk, most people in the queue with a basket full of groceries, because the Co-op are too short staffed to open a proper till. I only tend to use this as an Amazon collection point these days as the queues + the lack of stock is getting worse.
Delivery order: delivery driver accidentally smashed a bottle of wine that was included in my order. I called the store and the man I spoke to was more than helpful and even went out of his way when he finished his shift to ensure my order was rectified by delivering it to my home. Fantastic service, cannot recommend the staff here enough. Absolutely amazing and caring.
