Convenient to downtown Rothesay. OTC medicine and toiletries available. Small shop but packed with items.
Typical Co-op selling the usual Co-op goods. Pay and display carpark outside, which is free on Sundays.
A lifesaver on an island like Bute! Maybe not the biggest product range in the world, but all the essentials and more are there. PS - to the guy with the bike T-shirt: your advice about the local beers was much appreciated. It was indeed very good.

Excellent wee place. Highly recommended.nnToo many complainers on the island, who do not appreciate that Co-op actively help small communities. Not only by being here in the first place, when most major supermarkets are uninterested in small communities, where stocking the shelves every week and judging sales is a nightmare. Let alone getting deliveries with ferries off due to technical faults or bad weather. They also give funding to many locally run charities and helpful organisations as well as regularly donating food to the food bank. Take a look at many small, remote communities in Scotland and the only supermarket you will find there will be a Co-op. We are blessed to have a big Co and a wee Co on this island. I for one am grateful for them both.
