As a small business owner, I regularly use the post office here. The past few weeks I have had nothing but issues with the staff in this store. The staff themselves have been poorly trained in the post office, they don't listen to certain requests of postage and do what they think they've heard and when I tell them I wanted something else they tell me that they can't change it now. They never asked if I would like proof of postage which I need and the staff sigh when I ask for one.
This shop seriously needs to sort it's drainage problems out...ok it's been a pretty wet summer so far but this place shuts if there's some light drizzle! Speaking as someone who is used to dealing with these issues, it would be fairly simple to divert the water away from the door they just need to get some actual builders in instead of the staff bringing out the sandbags every heavy shower!
Very rude manager refused to accept cash at the till, I understand contactless is preferred but we should still be allowed to choose how we pay. His attitude was 'don't like it go somewhere else'
Pop in most days for a coffee,whilst on my rounds, and sometimes get a meal deal staff very friendly,even the cleaning guy, who has all the produce and shelving system implanted in his memory.
On a number of occasions, some of the staff the manager in particular have been flat-out rude, confrontational, and generally unpleasant for no reason. Have had to wait several minutes waiting in line to purchase something, even after making eye contact with several members of staff, as they all seem to have better things to do. Will avoid going here again.
Aside from one lovely chap who is enthusiastic chatty and welcoming the only reason this review gets anything more than 1 star the staff are extremely rude. They are completely closed and impolite and they make shopping there an awkward experience.
Sam closed the shop early and would not allow my husband in with two children to get cash for a taxi home after an issue with the car. The next day I complained to the manager and was brushed off.
Paul manager very helpful and friendly. Always happy to support Cheshire and Warrington Carers Trust with donations.
