What a terrific fishmongers in store, the craft ale selection is pretty special as well.
Store is currently undergoing a much needed refit, nonetheless still a pleasant place to shop. New aged beef counter is interesting, prices appear comparable to similar offerings in local farm shops.nDiscounting close to sell by items remains perplexing. £4.50 an item, standard discount buy 3 for £12, buy 1 close to sell by date £4.20. Hardly an incentive.nHopefully the ceiling leaks in the store and stairwell will also be sorted.
The store has recently been reorganized, and much has been lost in the transition. Of note is that the gluten free selection has decreased by about a half.
Ongoing refurbishment. If the colour of the lift landing walls on the first floor are anything to go by then free sunglasses and anti-nausea medication should be available. Also, meat/fish counter now far too small due to the installation of a Sushi bar. A tad niche in my opinion
Great place to shop. Good products and easy to park
