The Co-op has 2 stores on the small high street of Newport Pagnell, no competition, they rule. The Workman are ok, the self service are a joke as it’s never works properly, and in the end of the day the prices are a rip-off! Some items are more expensive then M&S or waitrose! I buy one or two items if I must, but I feel sorry for the elderly as they have no other choice. Hope the other Co-op across the road will close and something else will come up for competition, otherwise the rip-off will continue.

Never have I ever been treated so poorly in a shop, went in on the 3rd of march at 08:30am for some ingredients and there was a group of staff chatting discussing how they didn't want to be there and they couldn't be bothered. I walked past them to pick something up and as I walked back a gentleman was talking and point at me and I could see his reflection in the mirror in front of me, I asked him what he said and he immediately said he didn't say anything, I pointed out that I saw him and he insisted he was talking to his friends, said whatever and walked off, as I was grabbing something else he followed me and continued to argue with me then as I got fed up and he took my basket from my hands and kicked me out, still discussing with his friend who was commenting behind me. It's all on camera. Never have I been treated with such disrespect in my life. Disgusting
