Very bad experience due to a customer executive lady. I was shopping and since my mobile charging was below 5% I used a plug point to charge my mobile so that I could return home without issues. The customer executive has turned off the switch and when I tried to explain her but she removed my charger out of the socket and walked away. Values define who we are. As I reflect on it after 3 hours I feel pity for her. I believe we should care and support eachother in difficult situations as after all we are human beings. I wish her godspeed and good wisdom.
Great shop and you can get most things you need. It has recently had a refurbishment so looks nice clean and up to date and helpful staff. They also have self service tills so you can be in and out very quickly and I cannot praise them enough we are very lucky in Newport pagnell to have a wide choice of coops to choose from and are open most days and on a Sunday they shut at 4pm like most bigger stores. It is very handy to have another coop over the road when this happens.
A decent sized shop with well trained, friendly staff. The range of products is enough to live off of without needing to shop elsewhere, except the free from range which is very limited no frozen on display. I'd recommend for most customers, although those with dietary requirements are probably better off going elsewhere.
Not even worth a star!! Coops are currently doing a meal deal FILL YOUR FREEZER for £5. The other store is doing this but didn't have one item, went over to this store where I asked if they were doing the same deal one member of staff said yes and will honour it if there is an issue. At the till the lady called the manager who refused to do it, despite the frozen food displayed as advertised and STILL had the poster up on their window!! Taking it down after my say so!! I'm normally quite understanding but the attitude of the manager and lady was appalling absolutely poor customer service and rude if selected stores are doing it why was your products merchandised according to the offer!!! Misleading customers with a marketing scam!!!
Popped in for some cheese slices and bits. Shop not busy, tight aisles compared to Asda, Tesco etc. But Co-op usually are. Parking nearby or on high street not directly at store. Used self checkout so did not interact with the staff. Parking lost the star.
Went into the shop today about 2.30pm just to get a few things. Had to wait in big queue lots of other customers complaining The self scan tills didn’t have any colleagues there to help customers and the poor guy on the tills was asking for help more than once but nobody came very poor Service surely should be better staffed to get customers out of shop more quickly due to covid .
Twice I have been in store and people are stealing meat. You don't stock more noodle varieties and beer selection is average.
Most Co-ops are poor the world over but this branch is hilariously bad. Staff would rather be doing anything to avoid tills, and the reality of retail is if people can’t buy your products the well stacked shelves are irrelevant. Lunch and other breaks appear to be scheduled at lunchtime which seems reasonable unless it is peak operational period. Queues are common and the staff could not be more demotivated. They rarely start a customer focused task without specifically being summoned. So they will happily squeeze produce on the aisles while surrounded by queueing customers until someone hits the buzzer! 1 of 4 auto-tills are permanently broken and, unlike all other supermarket chains, are completely unattended so if they fall down help is nowhere to be seen. This leads to people giving up mid-transaction and starting on another till if vacant, leaving even less options for the hapless customer. There’s a range of better choices on the High St. Including the other Co-Op 30 metres across the road.
Nice revamped store. Clean nicely stocked fridges. Could do with more staff and DIY tills useless. Ended up queueing for a real checkout.
Manager told to leave shop shop for my wife, while he did not let us both to the shop. And told us that we are going to die because of virus. Very polite as for the manager and maximum customer service was reached at this point.
